Pojagi Koreansk Lappteknik
Discover pojagi – a Korean patchwork technique where pieces of fabric in varying sizes, materials and colours are sewn together to create larger textile works. When light flows through the textiles, an effect similar to stained glass is created where the fabric’s seams appear and form geometric, decorative patterns.
Learn the basic techniques and take advantage of concrete sewing tips and step-by-step descriptions on how to succeed with everything from curtains and bed linens to cloth napkins and lampshades. All you need to create functional and inspiring interior design objects – preferably from leftover or forgotten pieces of fabric that you may already have at home – is basically just scissors and a sewing machine.
This book mixes traditional Korean craftsmanship with interior design ideas adapted to a Scandinavian lifestyle. Pojagi is much more than just a sewing technique: it is a creative art form that inspires us to create cozy, personal and more sustainable homes.
