A trip down memory lane
Our co-founder Kristian had a chat with our Photographer Tomas and asked him about his first memory of APLACE.
“I remember my earliest memory as if it had been burned in with laser in my head, which is a bit funny actually as the story involves a laser beam.
10 years ago I studied at Beckmans and that’s when I came in touch with the founders of the fashion magazine ODD at Large (that later became APLACE) At a party hosted by ODD at Large, there was a big laser beam with so strong laser rays that it could burn holes in your clothes if you came too close. The music was pumping all night and the dance floor was full of sweaty, happy people waving their t-shirts to the rhythm, in front of the green laser rays. When the party was over, everyone was exhausted, mobiles had been lost and jackets had disappeared. But it was a hell of a party so it was all worth it!
So now I’ve been with APLACE since 2013, working with photography, design and web”
For the photoshoot, Tomas picked out some of his favourite outfits from our store.
