A foreword by writer Barry Yourgrau, a longtime friend of Kyoichi, meditates on the ‘untidy and prodigiously cluttered’ hideouts of Tokyo, filled with everything ‘from the raunchy to the freaky and funky to the kawaii (“cute” in Japanese)’.
